I was a choir boy there from about 1946 or 7, when I helped with the damage restoration. There was a large hole in the floor, Altar end of the right hand pews. The vicar then was Reggie Brown, I went as a chorister to his wedding. We were 'paid' about half a crown (13p) every few weeks which we spent over the road in Mattie Wilson's shop for sweets. Ah, those were the days!!

It won't be an Olympic venue if it isn't in either London (main city) or Sheffield (other city)!
